Getting Sentimental Over You
Tommy Dorsey and his Orchestra immortalized this Ned Washington/George Bassman song
Nick Davis' dulcet solo on the trombone for the Continentals.
The Continentals Orchestra plays a variety of music — Standards, Jazz, Latin, swing, mambo, rumba, samba, waltzes, polkas, beach and line-dances, ballads, show tunes, vocals, 1910's–2010's — popular and contemporary. The orchestra seeks to play the styles of music that customers prefer and will also adapt to the preference of the dancers. We play danceable music and swing music from the 30s–50s as revived by Linda Rondstat, Natalie Cole, Harry Connick Jr., Rod Stewart, Michael Buble, Nora Jones and Diana Krall.
